It's Time To Make Time For Your Health
I cannot share enough with people how much I love Total Fitness Camp! I am in the best shape of my life! I started in September and even though I have lost weight the most exciting part for me is losing the body fat! I am now down to 150 lbs at 16.9% body fat. The other thing that I love it I can do "real" push ups! I never thought I could do it! Fitness Camp never gets easy, but you get stronger!

I have always been heavy. Even though I was physically active at work; a lot of walking, lifting, pushing and standing, I was never interested in traditional exercise. At 39 years old I found myself at 348lbs at my highest recorded weight and I was suffering from hyper tension, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol and stress. After 4 years and many changes in my life style I changed my thought processes about exercise and eventually lost 158 lbs. In the first 30 days, of Michael’s Total Fitness Camp, I saw a reduction of over 5 inches, that was fantastic for me! Now I'm down even more inches and feel great! I really enjoy the exercises! It challenges me mentally and my body physically and, not to mention, it's fun!

I began my journey a year ago. 3 days a week, along with cardio I pushed myself, along with a proper diet I was able to reduce my weight from 330lbs to 195 lbs. My BMI was also reduced dramatically and my body fat went from 26% down to 10%. I'm in the best shape of my life!

Being unhealthy and very overweight for nearly 13 years took it's toll on me in 2010. I had two health scares that could be linked to my weight not to mention I just didn't take care of myself. I always made excuses as to why I couldn't work out, but 2010 was a wake up call.
I started Zumba Fitness with Phoebe Flanagan in and soon after I started seeing Michael Flanagan as my personal trainer for weight training. I attend Zumba no less than 3 times a week and I see Michael two times a week for 30 minutes each session. I am well on my path to reaching my goal dress size. I already feel and look healthier than I did when I first started. I've gone down from a size 18 to having to wear a belt in a size 14. I'm still working very hard and look forward to reaching final my goals.
Phoebe and Michael Flanagan have the expertise in helping me achieve my fitness goals. My parents, friends, Michael and Phoebe Flanagan are my biggest fans. The best feeling in the world is when people see you on the street and make this big amazing surprised face because you are looking younger, great and healthier. For me, it's been well worth the sacrifices to find this kind of health, energy and happiness.

I have been working with Michael for the past 4 1/2 years. I cannot say enough good things about Michael. He is there to motivate and encourage me and he pushes me harder than I would push myself. Michael doesn't just train me, he listens to what my needs are and tailors the workouts to accommodate and help take me to the next level. Michael helped me not gain so much weight during my second pregnancy and then helped me lose the weight after. As a doctor of chiropractic, it's important for me to be able to endure a busy schedule. The strength and endurance I've gained from working out has been a great help to my practice and I can't imagine not training with Michael and Personal Fitness Center
Michael made me feel comfortable right away. I had a weight problem that was interfering with my life. I have been working with Michael twice a week for three years and now feel better than ever. Thanks Michael!

You'll find that you CAN actually learn pretty easily. The steps can be broken down really easily and you can make modifications to make the workout as intense as you need it to be. "My friend Jen and I tried Zumba with Phoebe and I am excited to do more. It is so much fun and you sweat a lot!! You don't feel like you should be sweating that much but you do. You feel it in all your muscles but I feel it in the hips and sides of my stomach where I need it most. Great energetic instructor that has a smile on her face and you can really tell she enjoys spreading Zumba to the Fairbanks area.
